WHAT WE OFFER

Creative Industries Sunshine Coast's focus is to be all inclusive where all students can confidently learn in a supportive environment with quality training and qualified teachers. We welcome all dedicated students from the Sunshine Coast and surrounds to audition for placement where they can complement this additional dance training with their weekly home studio training. 

Throughout this year, we have had many amazing Guest Industry Choreographers/Mentors to teach our students content applicable to their course as well as creating pathways for their future in the performing arts industry. The guests who have visited us this year include Shannon Atkins, Symiko Devan der Schuerer, Cadel Ryan, Kyra Dooley, Stephen Tannos, Abbe Bradbury, Joel Murphy, Sarah Boulter, Amira Younan-Wise, Kyle Borg, Goose Polanco, Tegan Jeffrey-Rushton and Rob McLean. Many more exciting guests lined up for the rest of 2025!

 

In 2025, Creative Industries will be offering the following courses and programs:

 

• CUA20120 Certificate II in Dance

• CUA30120 Certificate III in Dance

• CUA30320 Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching

• CUA40120 Certificate IV in Dance

• CUA40320 Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management

• Extension Program for 13 years plus - Full Day, Half Day options

• Pre-teen Extension Program for 9-12 years - Wednesdays

Our Certificate courses are offered on Wednesdays which is our Industry Day when we have a Guest Choreographer/Mentor visiting the studios.

 

Fridays are additional dance training days for Extension training or for those students wishing to fast track their Certificate courses.

PRE-TEEN EXTENSION PROGRAM

Dancers aged 9 -12 years can choose from the following programs:

• Wednesday 1:30-3:30pm - Tech and Industry program (1 hour of tech and 1 hour with guest choreographer)
